Responsible for thoroughly examining and grading donated goods to sell in Goodwill of North Georgia Retail stores. Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to standard operating procedures.

Must be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation

A senior associate here at V60. I sent an application to a higher ranked firm that wasn’t looking, and got an interview that is scheduled for Friday. I’m planning to request a title bump. Thinking more on this, I want to stay at my firm that I’ve built goodwill in and where promotion is likely. Is it unprofessional to let the Interviewing firm know what I’m thinking and cancel the interview? I thought it more professional to let them know early, but not sure of how it will be perceived.

Customers are rude and refuse to listen to employees. Pay is not good for the amount of work you endure. Can be extremely stressful. Management was horrible about working with the employees to fix issues in the workplace. One day can be completely peaceful and the next can be pure chaos.

GENERAL SUMMARY: Greets donors, receives donations, and offers receipt for donated goods. Ensures that donations are sorted and secure in accordance with Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette (GICW) requirements. Provides assistance in other areas of the store, as assigned. Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner. Assist supervisory staff in store operation by performing assigned advanced tasks and provides leadership to assigned personnel.
